Blobby is a motion-based visual tool for macOS. It uses real-time pixel analysis to apply effects over a live camera feed or imported video files. The application is built with a minimalist interface inspired by classic CCTV monitors and digital terminals.

Core Functionalities :

Blob tracking: the app detects movement between frames and generates geometric shapes over the active areas. Multiple styles are available, including color saturation, black & white inversion, and vector networks.

ASCII: converts the video feed into typographic characters. It features different character sets (binary, numeric, complex maps) and allows for full-screen ASCII or motion-reactive ASCII.

Every effect is customizable. You can adjust motion sensitivity, grid resolution, line thickness, colors, and font properties.

Source Input: supports live webcam streaming or file imports (.mp4, .mov, .webm). WARNING : iPhone .MOV files are not supported.

Export Options: built-in tools for taking PNG snapshots and recording WebM video sequences including all active filters.
